Things to do in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Perfect for a weekend holiday, Puerto Rico has amazing history and culture around every turn…Since Puerto Rico is a US territory, it’s incredibly safe to travel there. Granted I was with my boyfriend at the time. I honestly would have felt just as comfortable it had been a girl’s trip.

There is so much to do in San Juan that it’s impossible to do it all in one weekend. If you’re on the east coast it’s a short 2-3 hr flight, but since I live on the west coast now it’s a good 9hr flight to get there. Totally worth it though!

When I visited it was before Hurricane Maria but the majority of the island has reopened for business now. Hotels & Restaurants are open. Also, flights are super cheap right now. There are just tons fun of things to do.
