You’re going to love Sydney, Australia.
There is so much I can say about Sydney…
For one, Sydney Australia is one of my favorite places on this earth! I’m totally obsessed with it! This trip with my boyfriend was the best trip I’d ever taken! We were lucky to have some close friends down under, lol. So they also took us to some amazing places as well!
Below I have put together a list of great things to do while in Sydney. Trust me they won’t disappoint!
Getting around in Sydney…
Since there are so many things to do in Sydney, your first thought is how do I get around to these places? There are many options to get around in Sydney: Uber, Taxi and their public transportation system which includes the metro, ferry, train, and buses. To use those you’ll need to get an Opal card. The Opal card is basically an electronic ticket and it’s very easy to use once you get it. You can get the Opal card are small retailers around the city and use the Opal app on IOS and Android to see when the next Ferry, Train, Metro and or bus is coming.
Things to do in Sydney…
Bondi Beach
Take the Ferry to different ports & see Manly Beach
Featherdale to see and pet the kangaroos!
Sydney harbour bridge climb, best time do to it is sunrise and sunset if possible.
Darling Harbour, take a sunset walk around.
Places to eat & drink…
Marquee Sydney $$$ - Dance club with great drinks.
The Argyle $$ - A great place for drinks and food if you get there earlier. They also turn into a dance club at night.
Opera Bar $$ - Try to get get a seat outside to get a view of the waterfront and the Sydney Opera House.
Quay $$$$ - For this place, you much make reservations at least 3 months in advance. Amazing views, food, and service!
The Rook $$ - (rooftop) also they have the best Waygu burgers I’ve ever had in my life!
The Baxter Inn $$ - One of the largest whiskey bars in the world.
Pontoon Bar $$ - Have lunch on the waterfront or dance the night away.
The Port Darling Harbour $$ - Great place for lunch on the waterfront.
Aqua Dining $$$$ - The view is so surreal and the food is great! Also, make sure you make a reservation ahead of time as well.
