Keemala Resort will leave you speechless!
Second stop on our honeymoon is Keemala in Phuket, Thailand…
After seeing this resort all over Pinterest & Instagram, I wanted to go there so bad! When we were able to book for the second stop of our honeymoon, I couldn’t have been more excited! The photos really don’t do this place justice.
How to experience Keemala…
Wow is really all I can say! This is the best resort I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life! I would live at this place if I could! So let me break it down what Keemala is all about…
The Villas: We stayed in one of the Tent Pool Villas. It’s actually all they had left when we booked back in July. But when we stepped in to it we couldn’t have been more happier. It was like we stepped in to a movie or we were a celebrity for a day or something it was soo nice and eclectic.
The Spa: This spa treatment to me to another world! We got a couples massage and I got a full body turmeric scrub. I literally passed out. It was the most relaxed I’ve ever felt on any vacation. In between treatments and at the end there is an outdoor shower to wash off the oil and/ or scrub. It was AMAZING!
The Cuisine: Again, AMAZING. We did a cooking class with a chef taught us to cook some traditional Thai food. Also gave us a tour of the grounds where the grow all their own organic vegetables and fruits and take care of their own livestock. We also found out the offer vegetarian and pescatarian, and have various super foods available and can also prepared gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, or sugar-free if needed.
Fun stuff: We also took our first tai chi class which wasn’t as easy as it look but fun. We only went off the resort once for the elephant sanctuary close by which I definitely recommend! It’s a respectable one where you don’t ride the elephants but you feed them and bathe them. It’s magical!
